Accessibility statement
FledgeNow, operated by Eagletpip LLC, helps families stay connected and keep loved ones safe and reachable through the FledgeNow mobile app and the fledgenow.com website. We are committed to making our app and website accessible to people with disabilities.
Our goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where practicable — including keyboard navigation, screen reader support, labeled controls and forms, and sufficient color contrast — across the FledgeNow app and fledgenow.com.
Measures we take
- A "Skip to content" link on website pages.
- Visible keyboard focus on links, buttons, and form fields.
- Structured headings and landmarks on key pages (FAQ, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy).
- Accordion FAQ sections usable with a keyboard and screen readers.
- VoiceOver labels for in-app controls, including the SOS button and the Nest readiness indicators, so status isn't conveyed by color alone.
- Support for Dynamic Type (larger text sizes) and Reduced Motion in the app.
- Ongoing accessibility improvements to both the app and the website.
Known limitations
Some experiences may not yet fully meet WCAG. In particular, the in-app map that shows each Nest member's most recent location relies on system map components (Apple and Google Maps) whose accessibility we do not fully control. We continue to improve these areas.
