A Family Location App That's Easy on Your Battery
Looking for a Life360 alternative? FledgeNow is smart on battery and strong on privacy.
Most family location apps keep your phone working hard all day. FledgeNow takes a different approach: it turns GPS on only when it's needed, so your battery lasts longer and your location stays private.
How FledgeNow saves battery
- GPS only when needed. FledgeNow checks for movement first and turns on GPS only when it matters.
- Location updates that show their age. Each location says how old it is — for example, "updated 6h ago" — so you always know what you're looking at.
- Alerts that don't need constant tracking. Trip start and trip end alerts tell you when someone leaves and when they've arrived (such as "trip ended near Oak St."), with no geofences to set up.
Everything a family needs
- Know where they are. See your family on a map.
- Know what's happening around them. Use Safety Check to see information about a location or address.
- Reach them when it matters. Send an alert that gets through, even when their phone is on silent.
Your location is never sold
FledgeNow's core safety features are free. The only paid option is Guardian+, an optional subscription that unlocks unlimited Safety Checks — nothing else is paywalled. That subscription, not your data, is how we make money, so we never have to sell your location. Sign in with your phone number. Your location is used to keep your family safe, and nothing else.
